What compensation package is offered by Eastern Canada Consulting?

What kind of work permit does ECC sponsor for their new hires?

Eastern Canada Consulting sponsors temporary work permits, allowing their hires to work in Canada. These visas are granted by the federal and provincial governments and are employer-specific.

An employer-specific work permit allows an employee to work for a specific employer in Canada. On average, an employer-specific work permit lasts 2 to 3 years, during which employees are tied to their employer. After this period the work permit is renewed until consultants obtain their permanent resident (PR) status.

Eastern Canada Consulting helps their consultants in the immigration process by assisting them during every step of their work permit application. Throughout the years, the firm has successfully sponsored many consultants. The acquisition of a work visa might take up to 6 to 12 months depending on the consultant location.

What is the immigration status of employees’ spouses and families?

he spouses and children of temporary workers have the status of temporary residents. Spouses receive an open work permit allowing them to work for any employer in Canada. Children under five receive a visitor’s permit, allowing them to attend daycare and receive provincial health benefits. Children over five receive a student’s permit, allowing them to attend daycare and school, and receive provincial health benefits.
